As of the July 13, 2009 Board Meeting we have begun offering our GIS Data for free via the GIS Data Repository.
Here are some items you need to know about the data available on the Iowa GIS Data Repository (GISDR):
- Read the disclaimer to familiarize yourself with the suitable/unsuitable uses of the data
- View the list of layers we maintain (Items marked “Yes” are uploaded)
- Uploaded twice monthly
- Formatted to both ESRI shapefile and file geodatabase
- All data is projected to Iowa State Plane South NAD83
- Username: pottusername
- Password: pottpassword
- Imagery is available for purchase from MAPA (our regional planning organization)
